Today, financial services and technology should be the fastest growing industries between 2006 and 2016, according to the Connecticut Department of Labor.

Career Opportunities in Connecticut
The job market for technology and computer professionals should remain strong. Computer software engineering is expected to add 2,543 jobs, while computer systems analyst jobs should increase by 1,948. Network systems and data communications analysts jobs should increase by 1,364 positions. Financial services should also add a number of positions. The economy and concern for profitable balance sheets is driving the job market for financial analysts, which is expected to require 1,809 more employees.
