The Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy program is a terminal degree designed for candidates seeking a non-traditional doctorate. Students will develop leadership skills in the areas of supervision and teaching of systemic practice. Student-directed components in the Concentration, Internship and Applied Clinical Project afford students opportunities to pursue specific application of systemic approaches. It will prepare graduates for careers as clinical supervisors, graduate level teachers, private practitioners and agency administrators.

The EdD in Counselor Education and Supervision Program is designed to help current practitioners with existing master's-level preparation to advance their careers. This doctorate provides expanded opportunities to compete in the market place, on par with the growing number of doctoral-level counseling practitioners. Students should consult with their campus program faculty for information on license eligibility requirements.

The Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in School Psychology Program is designed to prepare students to meet the criteria for state certification as school psychologists, and to prepare them to become nationally certified school psychologists in accordance with criteria developed by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). The program emphasizes the development of attitudes, knowledge, and skills essential to the training of school psychologists who are committed to the ethical provision of quality services. Currently, the PsyD in School Psychology Program is only available at Argosy University/Hawaii and at Argosy University/Phoenix.

The Education Specialist in Instructional Leadership Program enables experienced teachers to become more competent practitioners and educational leaders with instruction as their focus. This program is designed for either career advancement or graduate preparation for students who are already working toward a doctorate. Students may choose an optional concentration in K-12 Education. Programs have been developed by faculty members to provide working professionals with the opportunity to pursue their personal and professional goals through the completion of an Education Specialist (EdS) program.

The Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology Program educates and trains students in the major aspects of clinical practice. To ensure that students are prepared adequately, the curriculum integrates theory, training, research, and practice, preparing students to work with a wide range of populations in need of psychological services and in a broad range of roles. Students who complete the clinical psychology program earn a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree. The PsyD degree combines relevant research, applied theory, and field experience to prepare the graduate to apply psychological knowledge in a variety of settings and roles. The program accepts students who have a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Although prior degrees need not be in psychology, some psychology courses are required (as prerequisites for admission), and some experience in psychological services is desirable.

The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Pastoral Community Counseling Program is based on the fundamental belief that religious/spiritual communities provide a unique opportunity for human growth and development. The program is designed to prepare leaders within religious communities with an opportunity for personal and professional development, directed toward making a significant contribution to their community and to society. With this in mind, the program integrates the engagement of knowledge, the development of skills, reflective practice, and research in a manner that prepares the pastoral counselor to address individual and communal development in an ethically responsible fashion. The Master of Science in Health Service Management provides a comprehensive course of graduate study to prepare health service providers and managers for the challenges of modern health care. The Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) in Teaching and Learning: Integrated Concentration degree program at Argosy University, Dallas is intended to prepare educators who work in the P-12 setting as change agents who engage actively in their communities, using appropriate pedagogy and technology to foster the development of global citizens. In addition to the core course requirements, students enrolled in this degree program will complete a four course sequence designed to strengthen educators’ knowledge and skills in order to work more effectively in the current classroom environment. The Master of Science (MS) in Psychopharmacology incorporates coursework and clinical practice to comprehensively train postdoctoral psychologists to prescribe medications independently, appropriately, effectively, and safely. Upon successful completion of the program, students will have the education and experience to prescribe psychopharmacological medications consistent with state and federal laws, and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers in order to coordinate care. This program is intended to prepare students for the Psychopharmacology Exam for Psychologists (PEP).

The Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology Program is designed pursue a career in clinical psychology. The program introduces students to basic clinical skills that enable them to serve the mental health needs of populations with diverse backgrounds. Students who use the master's degree as a means of entering a professional career receive theoretical background and professional training under the supervision of a highly qualified, practitioner-oriented faculty. The graduates of this program are then able to apply theoretical and clinical knowledge to individuals and groups in need of mental healthcare. The program can also serve as a preliminary step to the doctorate degree. In certain states, students holding an MA in Clinical Psychology are eligible to sit for licensure.

The Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology/Marriage & Family Therapy Program emphasizes a practitioner-oriented philosophy, and integrates applied theory and field experience. Currently only offered at Argosy University/Orange County, the coursework and practicum for this degree program are based on the MA in Professional Counseling Program. It is designed for students who wish to pursue the Clinical Psychology track while receiving graduate-level training in the core curricular areas, including supervised clinical practice, required for licensure as a marriage and family therapist in the state in which the program is located. Licensing requirements differ from state to state, so students should verify the current licensing requirements of the state in which they plan to become licensed.

The Master of Arts (MA) in Forensic Psychology Program is designed to educate and train individuals who are currently functioning, or wish to be trained to function, in fields that utilize the study and practice of forensic psychology. The curriculum provides for an understanding of theory, training, and practice of forensic psychology. The program emphasizes the development of students who are committed to the ethical provision of quality services to diverse clients and organizations. The program maintains policies and delivery formats suitable for working adults. The Education Specialist (EdS) in Teacher Leadership degree program at Argosy University, Atlanta is a 33-credit-hour program designed for classroom teachers who are looking to expand their content knowledge, develop leadership skills, teach more effectively, and support the professional development of their peers. Candidates in this degree program will have the opportunity to become skillful in building collaborative relationships and learning communities that focus on student learning and support a strong positive climate in the school. Peer mentoring and coaching are modeled and practiced throughout the program in field experiences and the culminating research project. The EdS in Teacher Leadership degree program does not prepare for, or lead, to teacher or school administrative certification/licensure.
