Religious studies exercise a student's aptitude for critical thinking in relation to global issues. Other skills like leadership, research, problem solving, rhetoric, and in-depth analysis arm students with the abilities they need to compete in a job market that values multi-talented applicants. The program prepares students for jobs in fields such as global development, education, social outreach, journalism, law, business, and pastoral leadership.

Career options for Spanish graduates include educators, researchers and translators. Graduates may also combine Spanish with other professional fields such as business, engineering, journalism, political science, the health professions, social services and government.

Graduates with degrees in film and media studies have secured jobs in the entertainment industry as creative executives, producers, managers and writers. They work in media arts, story and production development, exhibition, distribution and film, television and video game production. Some students complete graduate studies and secure jobs in journalism as film and media critics. The curriculum provides a breadth of engineering science and design with depth in one specific area suitable for practice. This knowledge is augmented with an understanding of business practices, organizational behavior and management skills to enable the graduate to succeed in the management of a scientific or engineering operation.

They learn from nationally renowned faculty, to include psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists, geographers, and political scientists. We offer students foundational knowledge of communication theories and research methods, with courses that provide students with the tools to understand, analyze and respond to communication problems and opportunities in a variety of contexts, including workplace teams and community, civic and cultural groups.

Students develop the intellectual tools needed to build bridges among academic disciplines and apply their skills, innovations, and knowledge in diverse academic and practical settings. Students who complete the degree feel confident as they enter a wide range of organizations. As part of the degree requirements, students may engage in hands-on internships with a wide range of organizations. Those who plan to pursue graduate studies may elect to complete directed-study projects.

The study of criminology and criminal justice involves the analyses of theories, laws, policies and practices associated with criminal and delinquent behavior, as well as the government’s response to criminal violations. This program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of crime and criminal justice that is based in social sciences and focuses on the policies and practices of criminal justice system components, such as law enforcement, corrections and the courts.

Students pursuing this major will take classes in fitness, nutrition, healthy eating, stress management, and the cultural and political aspects of health and healthcare.

The program bridges the gap between technology and business for students who want to launch their own technology-based ventures, profit or non-profit, or prepare for a career in product/service design and development or technology management. TEM is a collaborative effort bringing together faculty from diverse programs focused on entrepreneurship and technological advances across campuses.

In our technical world, graphics are an essential way to communicate information. Being able to create, evaluate, organize and disseminate visual messages to a broad audience is a valuable skill. Through an intensive program of study emphasizing theory and practice, ASU’s BS in graphic information technology integrates diverse applications of digital communication and information as used in industry, commerce, education and government.

Students take a variety of courses on contemporary issues related to the development of individuals and families as they relate to their diverse social worlds. These courses cover such topics as life span human development, adolescence, marriage and family relationships, parenting, and the impact of ethnicity, culture, gender and work on individual development and family interaction patterns.

The program provides a high quality art history education and prepares students for a life-long career. As an art history major, students are offered a diverse curriculum that fosters critical understanding of the aesthetics, production, patronage and consumption of art. Courses examine art history from a wide variety of cultures, time periods, and geographies through multiple approaches and methodologies.

This is a cross-disciplinary program designed to equip students with knowledge and skills that will position them for a range of career opportunities in health-related fields . Our graduates will be well prepared for success as managers in their original fields of expertise, such as Medical Radiology, Nuclear Medicine Technology and Histology Technology.

Through integrated study, students will be prepared for a variety of careers that require teamwork, analytical interpretation, problem solving, strong and effective oral and written communication, and leadership skills. In addition, students will practice how to express complex ideas for a specific audience and purpose, and utilize research tools for writing and other modes of communication. Further, students will develop contextualizing skills, which allow them to situate texts within their historical, cultural, critical, and rhetorical situations.

There is a growing demand for professional management in an industry that is becoming increasingly competitive, sophisticated and global. Food industry management students will learn mission-critical skills in applied finance, strategy, marketing, human resource and supply-chain management necessary for success in any food-related enterprise. They will be able to identify problems and opportunities arising in the chain and articulate their recommendations to appropriate stakeholders.

Interdisciplinary students develop the intellectual tools needed to build bridges across academic disciplines and apply their skills, innovations and knowledge in various academic and practical settings. In core classes, students develop a portfolio that showcases each individual's skills, interests and talents. This portfolio and the applied learning experience provide each student with valuable resources for flexible, individualized career planning and development.

Students take a variety of courses on both contemporary social issues and traditional social institutions. These courses cover such topics as courtship and marriage, the family, social change, the impact of technology on society, the globalization of work, deviance, social networking, population characteristics, and the politics of race, ethnicity, religion, gender and health in today's society.

The curriculum brings together information, writing, multimedia, and communication technology to prepare students for careers as technical writers/editors, publication managers, information designers, instructional and training developers and more.

The program is intended for students seeking a graduate degree that explores the integration of the humanities with political, religious, social and scientific questions within their cultural contexts. The Master of Liberal Studies is purposefully designed to move beyond the narrow confines of a single academic discipline. Instead of looking at the world through the limited lens of one discipline, the MLSt closely matches the broader way we as adults learn on a daily basis; it provides us with many different ways to understand the world.

The program also offers training in research methods and statistics, program planning and management, policy analysis, and program evaluation. The MACJ offers working professionals the flexibility to earn a master’s degree from excellent faculty who are nationally recognized for their research and scholarship.

The MSGTD program addresses the global disparity in wealth and access to resources and basic needs, both between and within countries. In addition, the program seeks to better understand the role of technology in creating wealth in nations, as well as its distribution. Issues of culture, history, religion, and social organization are considered as mitigating factors in this process.

It is also ideal for military personnel, government employees, and graphics or technology educators. Students come to the online program with expertise in digital photography, web design and development, print technology, multimedia, informational graphics, graphic sales and management, technical and scientific visualization, or other creative or technical backgrounds.

Graduates are equipped with translatable skills necessary to create pioneering, sustainable development solutions to the challenges facing tourism today.

With nonprofit and social sector groundings, this transdisciplinary program combines social entrepreneurship with innovative community development, providing a basis for exploring capacity building, and fostering positive change for organizations, corporations, societies, and economies.
