Every unique face shape calls for a specific hairstyle. A licensed Cosmetologist creates the appropriate style and treatment for each guest. As a student at Federico Beauty Institute, you will learn to use a variety of software (shampoos, conditioners, perms, relaxers, hair color) and hardware tools (combs, brushes, scissors, razors, curling aids, dryers). Typical hair services include:

• Hair Spa Treatment (condition/color/perm)
• Haircut
• Hairstyle and Finish
• Hair Color

At Federico Beauty Institute, we go beyond the basics to teach you:

• Organization skills
• How to be a team player
• The 'why' and 'how' of people skills to communicate and establish strong trusting relationships with your clients
• Career options that include salon management, hair colorist, artistic director, photo stylist, makeup artist, or educator

You can attend Federico Beauty Institutes Cosmetology Program either:

• Full-time during the day (30 hours a week for 53.5 weeks) or
• Part-time in the evening (20 hours a week for 80 weeks)

As one of the fastest-growing segments of the salon and spa industry, estheticians perform facials, waxing, and other spa body treatments and need to know how to:

• Use of a wide variety of products (cleansing agents, lotions, wraps, oils, to name a few) and tools (lighted mirrors, steam machines, saunas and spas, rinsing apparatus)
• Recognize abnormalities in the skin and recommend effective treatments to correct those abnormalities
• Perform consultations

At Federico Beauty Institute, we go beyond the basics to teach you:

You can attend Federico Beauty Institutes Esthetics Program either full-time, during the day (30 hours per week for 20 weeks) or part-time in the evening (20 hours per week for 30 weeks ).
