The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a prestigious degree, providing a major opportunity to advance one's career in management. Students from a variety of educational and workplace backgrounds may enroll in this generalist program, which seeks to prepare its diverse student body for the business challenges of the 21st century. To enroll in this program, applicant must have at least one year or the equivalent of full-time professional work experience.

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program develops the knowledge and skills required of registered nurses and enables nurses to pursue more challenging careers in the health care environment. The program combines nursing theory with the advanced practice concepts necessary to work successfully within the structure and culture of a variety of health care organizations. To be admitted to the MSN program, you must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree earned at an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, and must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license within the United States. The MSN curriculum consists of four core courses and eight advanced courses that provide specialization in one of four nursing concentration areas: community health, gerontology, nursing administration, and wellness.

As the health care industry focuses more on keeping people healthy, the role of the health care administrator is changing. Playing a leading role in the planning, organization, and operation of hospitals, sub-acute units, nursing homes, clinics, and other health care facilities, the administrator sets the overall direction for the organization. Health care administrators are responsible for quality health care as well as financial viability and cost containment. The M.S. in Health Care Administration offers courses that give you the skills to administer and manage a variety of health care programs. Graduates may find administrative positions in hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, HMOs, or community-based clinics.

The rising cost of medical care has forced the health care and insurance industries to evaluate wellness strategies.  Health promotion is founded on the philosophy of education, prevention, and enabling people and communities to improve their health. Wellness experts and health educators work hard to help the public understand and maintain healthy living standards.  They attempt to balance the psychological, cultural, and social aspects of health behavior through exercise, weight management, nutrition, smoking cessation, and many other programs. The strategic tools of the health promotion professional are assessment, behavior change and health communication methodologies, program planning, implementation, evaluation, and program administration.  The curriculum is designed to prepare health promotion practitioners and to provide a foundation of knowledge in research and evaluation. With a firm grasp of the principles of health promotion, you can be a significant factor in promoting health awareness in your community or facility.

The Registered Nurse upgrade to a Bachelor of Science Completion in Nursing program prepares registered nurses (RNs) to meet the many changes in the healthcare field by expanding and enhancing their nursing education.  The program is available to Registered Nurses only.  The program prepares graduates for leadership roles and graduate study in nursing.  The graduate is prepared to utilize theory and research-based knowledge in the provision of care to the client, the family and the community in a global society with flexibility to adapt to the changing nature of healthcare and healthcare roles.  The graduate is also prepared to integrate care across multiple settings, managing the interactions between and among components of the integrated network of healthcare services.

The Bachelor of Science Completion in Respiratory Care with Clinical Practice concentration provides students with the necessary skills to advance into a supervisor/management, patient education, clinical specialist, case management or advanced clinical practitioner position in various healthcare facilities (e.g. hospital, clinic, medical office, home care, LTC) or in an environment specific to the field of respiratory care. To enroll in this program, you must be a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT). A minimum of 96-quarter credits beyond the associate's degree or equivalent is required for graduation, with at least 24 quarter credits in general education.

The respiratory therapy program combines basic respiratory care courses, research, and practical experience in respiratory patient care. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) entry-level (CRT) and advanced-level (RRT) credentialing exams. If you already hold an NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential, or you have successfully completed a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program, you will begin your studies with the Intermediate block of courses. If not, you will enroll in the Prerequisite and Introductory courses. Applicants to the A.S. in Respiratory Therapy program must successfully complete prerequisite courses prior to acceptance. Before you officially enroll in the program, you will select a preceptor - a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who will serve as your clinical instructor. You will also select a local sponsoring facility (which may be your employer) where you can complete clinical instruction.

The Medical Specialties program prepares students for entry-level employment as medical assistants with practical radiology, billing/coding, and laboratory skills. The student is also prepared for a career as an entry–level pharmacy technician, home health aide, and as a medical receivables and coding professional. Objectives of the program include preparing students for possible certification or licensing (Note: radiology courses are limited scope, not an RRT certification) in the various medical specialties, as well as gaining employment in many medical fields.

The Business program with Property Management Emphasis prepares students for a variety of positions, such as bookkeepers, clerical assistants, personal property professionals, and a variety of managerial positions. The program courses provide students with a strong foundation in accounting, marketing, insurance, finance, electronic commerce, and real estate. The student will receive an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts relating to personal property management,and the management of fixed assets.
