Our phlebotomist program combines classroom instruction with hands-on training in our medical labs to help you develop the highly technical skill of intravenous blood withdrawal. Prior to completing this program, you will be required to complete an externship to gain on-the-job experience as a phlebotomist. You must be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) prior to starting your externship. This program includes instruction in both the clinical (chairside) and administrative aspects of dental assisting. Graduates may become Registered Dental Assistants by passing the Registered Dental Assistant Examination. Students are eligible to sit for the State Board of Radiology Exam. Although the program is designed to prepare students to take various certification or license exams, the School cannot guarantee the student will pass those exams. In some cases, field experience may be necessary to be eligible to take or to successfully pass the exams.
