The Bachelor of Science Business Administration Emphasis Entrepreneurship program prepares students to think like entrepreneurs and to utilize entrepreneurial tools and strategies, including opportunity scanning, product/service development plans, and pro forma financial statements, to achieve success in the creation of new business ventures.
Students in the state of Minnesota are not be eligible to sit for the Minnesota Police Officer licensing examination upon completion of the NAU's Bachelor of Science/Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree programs.
For graduates with a bachelor's degree in accounting, many career opportunities exist as private accountants for corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, government agencies or non-profit organizations.

NAU's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree program is a general program that offers a variety of business-related subjects, without specializing in any one area. For students who choose to focus on a particular area of business as an area of emphasis, the following emphasis areas are available: Accounting, Information Technology, Financial Management, International Business, Pre-law, Management, Marketing. Under the supervision of an attorney, paralegals may interview clients and witnesses; draft court pleadings and other legal documents; perform legal research; investigate medical, police and other records; attend hearings; assist in trial preparations; and assist at trial. Paralegals may not give legal advice, represent a client in court or set fees.
In the Bachelor of Science Business Administration Emphasis Supply Chain Management program, students will learn to coordinate the various aspects of the supply chain in order to optimize efficiency while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction. Students will also be challenged to consider how supply chain management integrates supply and demand management with product design, marketing, sales, finance, and information technology, as well across partner companies.

This program provides business students with an overview of accounting, economics, finance and management knowledge and skills needed for entry-level business supervisory positions. It also gives them an understanding of professional ethics and its application to the business environment.

The Invasive Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program is designed to train students to function in cardiac catheterization labs to prepare the patient and the lab. Students learn to assist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Cardiovascular technologists assist in all phases of the catheterization procedures, including invasive interventional procedures. National American University’s program was developed on the national curriculum for cardiovascular technology with hands on instruction to help prepare students for this fast-growing industry.
Graduates of this program can expect to find employment as accounting technicians, payroll clerks, bookkeepers, or clerical assistants in business, government or non-profit organizations. With experience, graduates may qualify for more advanced positions, such as payroll supervisors, lead accountants or tax specialists.
Administrative duties may include patient scheduling, reception duties, medical record management, medical transcription, office correspondence, medical insurance procedures and office accounts, fees and collections.
NAU's Therapeutic Massage program is designed to be the foundation of any massage therapist's career. Massage therapists are found in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, chiropractic offices and other health care facilities. Many therapists choose to be self-employed and open a private practice independently or with several associates.
Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) use occupation to develop and improve clients' cognitive, sensory, motor, and social skills to promote health and enhance participation in daily life activities. National American University's Occupational Therapy Assistant program offers a blended delivery format designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the theory and nature of occupation, the dynamic interaction of clients and their environments, and in "hands on" skills. This program emphasizes lecture, laboratory, discussion, demonstration, and practical application.
The Associate of Applied Science in Business Logistics program is designed to meet the needs of those who are interested in pursuing a career in the logistics field. Students will learn how business organizations can achieve competitive advantage by developing and maintaining efficient and effective operations across their buying, shipping, and receiving channels. Graduates of logistics programs are increasingly sought for their knowledge and skills in this specialized field of business that is projected to continue its expansion and growth.
The MM degree program is designed to help the student develop a well-rounded portfolio of management knowledge, skills, and abilities and a holistic view of the organization. Emphasis areas are offered in health care administration, information technology or human resource management.
