The National College Associate of Science Degree in Nursing prepares you to lead and coordinate patient care as an RN in a variety of healthcare settings, whether it is nursing in the community, health information, or education. The National College Information Systems Engineering Associate degree program is designed to provide you with the skills and confidence that you will need as a computer or network systems professional supporting a wide range of computing and networking environments.  You will learn to effectively plan, implement, maintain, and support information systems, learn networking configurations, various operating systems, as well as Internet products and technologies. The National College Paralegal Associate degree program is designed for those interested in paraprofessional positions in the legal field. Paralegals assist attorneys in drafting legal documents, research, investigations, trial preparation, and more.  Your coursework is focused on giving you a basic understanding of the core areas of law and the court systems to include legal terminology, procedural law, drafting of legal documents, techniques for interviewing clients, and research. Our instructors are legal professionals who will guide and mentor you throughout your program to prepare you to sit for the Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) or Certified Paralegal (CP) exams.  The Paralegal programs at the National College Roanoke Valley and Dayton Area campuses are approved by the American Bar Association.

The National College Pharmacy Technician Associate degree program is designed to provide you with the foundation you need to confidently support a pharmacist in a commercial, clinical, or hospital setting. You will gain a full understanding of commonly-prescribed drugs, as well as the working knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and record keeping procedures. Plus an externship placement will provide you the opportunity to gain career-related experience. Our career professional instructors will guide and mentor you throughout your program to prepare you to sit for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) exam.

The National College Surgical Technology Associate degree program is designed to provide you with a foundation of common patient care techniques and operating room procedures that are used before, during, and after surgery.  To further prepare you to work as a surgical technologist, our career professional instructors will guide and mentor you throughout your program giving you a thorough understanding of the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques, surgical procedures and the use of tools and technologies to assist in surgical procedures. The Paramedic Program is designed to give students the knowledge, skills and experience to provide a high level of life-saving emergency medical care to those that are sick or injured in a variety of urban and rural healthcare settings. Our program exceeds the standards and curriculum established by the US Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration and is fully accredited by the Virginia Department of Health. Graduates will qualify to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians' paramedic examination, which is required for paramedic certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The National College Health Information Technology Associate degree program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need for a rewarding career on the administrative side of healthcare.
