Schools.com has created a group on FreeRice.com in order to help end hunger. What is FreeRice.com? It's a website that converts each correct response to a trivia question into 10 grains of rice donated to the United Nations World Food Programme.
With this intriguing approach to charitable giving, FreeRice has two goals:
- To provide free education to everyone by delivering a fun, trivia-based website made possible by advertisers.
- To help end world hunger by providing free rice to the hungry.
