Security Careers in Information Technology

If you're interested in network security, consider getting specialized career training for one of the following jobs:
  • Network and computer systems administrators: While these professionals run an organization's network systems, helping the business organize and link its data collections, they may also be involved in network security--keeping information safe.
  • Computer security specialists: They create and establish an organization's computer security efforts, educating employees about network security, fixing security breaches, and installing security software.
  • Computer systems software engineers: These computer specialists design and develop systems software for business, medical, scientific, and other applications. Much of the software they develop takes security measures to keep networks safe.
