Tour the University of Colorado at Boulder campus

December 14, 2010

Join us for a tour of the idyllic University of Colorado at Boulder. Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the university is home to more than 30,000 students. The school was founded in 1877 as the flagship institution of the University of Colorado system.

Undergrads can choose from more than 3,400 classes in 80 majors, while graduate students can focus on one (or more) of 112 disciplines. The university is striving to be on the leading research centers in the country; in 2009 alone the school received more than $300 million in academic grants.

The city of Boulder is a cultural mecca – bringing together some of the best music, art, food, and coffee from the Midwest. Athletics also plays a large part in the community; the schools sponsors 14 varsity teams and recently announced that it would leave the Big 12 conference for the Pac-10.

With its combination of academic reputation, community engagement and beautiful landscape, the University of Colorado at Boulder is definitely worth a look.
