While most people — probably most especially students — don’t tend to think of them as such, college presidents are actually quite cutting edge. Cutting edge, at least, when it comes to technology a recent Pew Research Center report found. In fact, college presidents are more likely than the general public to be using a number of new technologies including smartphones, tablets, e-readers and social media accounts.
This enthusiasm for technology doesn’t end with personal use either — college presidents are more likely than the general public to see the value in online education, and expect that a majority of college textbooks will be entirely digital 10 years from now.
